Forensic Readiness is not directly the problem of this forum's topic, but very important and closely connected to the management tasks.
Robert Rowlingson from QinetiQ Ltd is the author of a good report - "An Introduction to Forensic Readiness Planning".
Robert is a well-qualified person - the expert in this area, so you can take his report like as a Best Practice.

This is an excellent report for managers. As an independent consultant for attorneys, I remain continuously surprised at the lack of basic disaster recovery systems, let alone digital forensic readiness.
