This meeting has the following main goals:
 |
To create a map of European digital forensics laboratories with their services, typical clients, experience, scope of examination, etc. |
 |
To present substantial papers concerning the next development of the digital forensic science in Europe. |
 |
To create a platform for an effective exchange of experience in wide areas of the digital forensic science. |
To reach these goals we would like to ask you:
Send us relevant information about your digital forensic laboratory. Your contact information, what do you do (scope of your examinations, methods you use, your typical clients, how many experts work in your laboratory, how long have you been doing the examinations, what other activities do you offer - eg. trainings, tools development, etc.). Some kind of presentation is welcomed.
Adding this information to the Links at this portal is welcomed.
Based on info collected from our attenders, we would like to give a presentation at the begining of the meeting where the situation in this area will be presented to the conference auditorium, to publish the information on the conference CD(DVD) and to create an "album" of the European digital forensic laboratories and (based on your decision at this meeting) to publish it on this website.
Send us your papers in accordance with the Call for papers rules and based on the following proposed hot areas:
1. Education and certification of digital forensic experts
2. Standardisation of digital forensic examination and cerification of digital forensic laboratories
3. Management of digital forensic laboratories
4 Techical problems of digital forensic examination, mainly
- examination of the huge volumes of data
- examination of encrypted data
- examination of live and network/internet data
5. Other important information, case studies, theoretical papers, links to other disciplines and problems (eg. law-enforcement, Europol and Interpol specifics, justice, etc.)
Register at this conference to help us reach these goals together. When you attend this conference, you will have a chance to influence digital forensic science in Europe. |
