DFF Europe - activity continues
DFF PragueDFF Meeting Prague 2007 gave impetus to reflect on the situation in the field of Digital Forensics. That impulse did not remain without response, the informal meetings of the last year’s DFF Meeting participants continue. Exchange of experiences, expertise and views takes place at both on-line and personal meetings during working and informal visits.

Probably does not make sense to describe in detail those meetings and talks, but half a year after the Meeting in Prague can be clearly observed a significant problem, which is almost always encountered speaking on the issue of Digital Forensic in Europe; the problem of fragmentation of activities, the issue of uncoordinated processes, and wastage of funds.
Raising the level of expertise and education and popularization are areas demanding the expertise, human and material resources. Clearly shows that resources available to individuals, individual private companies, and even individual states in our region, are usually insufficient for quality of the implementation of the various sub-projects. Calling for the coordination and unification of the activities across Europe is steadily stronger, the majority recognizes that the individual or local initiatives are extremely needed and useful, but to tackle problems seriously, manifestly inadequate.
